About Goodman Macro

SAY MY NAME.

GM—01

Goodman Macro brings together news tracking and learning notes on global macroeconomics and financial markets. We focus on the macro environment, market trends, quantitative research and AI, sharing perspectives and research methods. Our aim is to use technology and data to address gaps in market efficiency, see through the noise and uncertainty, understand how markets work, and continually improve the way we research them.

The content on this site and our social channels is for independent observation, learning and sharing. It offers no investment recommendations. We do not conduct investment activities ourselves. We learn and progress together.

How we work

01

A continuing record

We follow fixed income, economic data, currencies, commodities and equities, alongside developments in the Middle East, oil markets and U.S. monetary policy. Daily reviews sit alongside longer studies of market mechanisms and industry developments.

02

The purpose of the research

Our articles are market reviews and information summaries that record the author's research. They are intended for observation, learning and sharing. They do not constitute investment advice, recommendations or offers relating to securities, funds, derivatives or other financial instruments.

03

Sources and data

Key figures draw on official sources and original disclosures, including the Federal Reserve, U.S. Treasury, Bureau of Labor Statistics and Energy Information Administration, as well as reporting by news organizations. Market data generally come from third-party platforms. Accuracy is not guaranteed; the material is retained as a record for research and learning.

THE ENGLISH EDITION

The same research, in English

English articles are translated from the published Chinese editions. Each retains its original research date and links directly to its Chinese counterpart. Historical analysis reflects the information and judgments in that edition.

Charts with available frozen source data are redrawn with English labels. Original Chinese illustrations are accompanied by English guides covering their key information, including units and observation periods.
